A Burger that you need to be 18 to buy !

I've been to just about very highly rated burger place in London in the hope of finding something that compares to what you can get in the US and none of them come close. That's not to say they are horrible, I'll still happily eat them but they don't come close to some of the places I've been to in NY, Austin etc

Even at the lowest range of burgers the uk is worse.

Mcdonalds, Burger King both taste better than the UK versions and then thy have genuinely class low cost burger gains like in and out which wipe the floor with anything I've had over here.

Well, I'm never going to america.

Imagine having british burgers ruined for me for ever. I might lose 8 stone.

There used to a place where I live called CT's speed feed..... Used to cook flame grilled burgers while you watched.... The smell and taste were unblievble.... Never had a buger that nice since it shut.

Sounds a lot like a publicity stunt - am fairly sure the alcohol would have all (or almost all) burned off dusting the cooking process

I never got Id'd when I was 15 and had a Burger at TGI's with JD sauce, and JD BBQ sauce on my chips.

id be up for some of that though they can skip the IPA part. i make my own batter and tryed IPA before didnt offer much flavour. you cant beat a homemade patty smoked on the BBQ with a nice pint of ya most favourable beer.
