the last 20 mins felt like hours, the last 4 minutes even more!!. great win, hopefully we smash wigan on saturday.

I'm no Blue Union Lover. But I guess all they wanted was Bill to get his cheque Book out. Maybe that's the end of them for a while. Wasn't there a planned sit in/protest planned last night?Did that even happen?

Sell two cars for 5k, buy two for 5K, is not getting your cheque book out. Particularly after years of selling without buying.

A good night of wheeling and dealing though and glad to see the back of that lazy **** from France (awaits arrival of police).

Problem being is when we next lose a game we will go straight to the negative views all over again, board out, Moyes out, Kenwrights a <insert one of the many names called>.
I read a tweet from Distin last night and he seems to have stayed away from twitter because of how the majority of fans are on twitter regarding the club. He said something like "Im not used coming on here and the fans are in a good mood lol"
Lets just hope our new striker keeps the negativity away.

True that. What happened to unconditional Love for the mighty blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The negative nellies will be quiet on here for a few days but dont worry they will be back
*they are watching, always watching and waiting to pounce*

Maybe carried away but not far off......

A good squad still to come in vic jags jelly nuts rodwell distin Ozzie Coleman that's not as bad as I thought

Still buzzing here. The best day at the club for a long time. While it shouldn't mask the ongoing problems both on and off the pitch, it should provide a major boost in confidence.

1) We saw the real Everton emerge and deservedly defeat the club of mercenaries who are top of the league.

2) We finally at last spent a few quid in getting in a decent striker. This is what everyone has been clamouring for all season.

3) The return of the prodigal son. He left to seek his fortune, but saw the error of his ways and returned home.

All in all, a day to remember. Let's hope it signals the return of many more.

Let's not forget the longterm problems at the Club. We need to build for a longterm future. Maybe the presence of the Blue Union is partly responsible for Kenwright and the Board realising inaction is not an option; maybe they are partly responsible for the Board finally getting off their arses and getting some more quality back into the squad.

Regardless of whether or not there's any mileage in the above, i agree that yesterday was a very good piece of business, with the acquisition of a prolific striker and the return of Pienaar (in which, to be fair to the guy, Kenwright was apparently instrumental).

As an aside: did we not sign the Greek defender, Manolas in the end? The BBC site stated his acquisition was on standby until the Jelavic deal had been finalised.

This may be knee jerk, but I've got the Everton buzz back again.

I feel now the happiness that only Everton can make you feel. I'm so excited about having Pienaar back to link up with Baines and Jelavic to possibly smash in the goals as well as the Straq starting to look decent.

I LOVE YOU EVERTON. You make me so depressed at times but I love you.

Why did you have to mention cars?!
