Hello, I don't recognise half of you ****ers since I last posted! And forgive typos, slightly tipsy.

Anyway, am I the only one feeling guilt at the fact that we're holding Moyes back? Lets face it, we're not going anywhere until we have a takeover and that's not coming any time soon. Until then, Moyes seems stuck to us through his love for the club and desire to complete his decade old project. I want so much for him to stay and keep us as a viable team in the premier league, we'd probably be in the CCC if it wasn't for him. But I am still of the firm belief that if he was at a club where he could actually do what he felt was best rather than what he could afford to do that he would be brilliant. It's easy saying 'oh but he makes **** decisions at this club where he has **** all prospect for actual reasonable change of tactics due to lack of options so therefore he's the problem' but what would you do if you had the side he has? I just feel guilty now at the fact that we're holding a potential fergie back and making him a PL Dario Gradi. Part of me wants him to go to Spurs or Utd and win titles and CLs and show the world just how amazing he is.

Guess I'll be hated on for this post, but as long as it's not Azzbot or Mikels Goat delivering it I don't really gaf (Azzbot because he's a ****, Goat because he's a legend)

He's paid to do a job. Same as any other person.

If he wants to leave he can find another job and quit.

Holding him back?? Absolutely ridiculous.

Well we are? He could do an amazing job elsewhere like he is here, but he isn't even appreciated by half our fans which is ****ing scandalous. I ****ing love the man yet some morons actually want him out. Football is the only business about where the consumers can actually guilt the bosses in to staying out of loyalty, he's underappreciated and I think it's ****ing scandalous.

hi there Screech, certainly been a long time. Guess you've been in rehab to get over your POP addiction? Hopefully it worked out well.

Agree with most things you say about Moyes, just wish he'd be prepared to take a bit more risk and show more guts at some stages. He can be enormously frustrating at times. All in all still think he's a superb manager for us though.

You've had too much to drink Screech.

Making out that somehow the fans are holding him back is ludicrous at best.

Were not holding him back as said he could leave if he wanted so don't feel guilty.

The club as a whole Inc moyes is being held back by the board. not 1 person is bigger than EFC

Moyes is a great manager hope he stays another 10 years and at some point hope the hands get un-tied from round his back

I think in the summer if he is offered the spurs job he would take it. Even if he lost bale, he still has pienaar and ekottu on the left which is still half decent.

and there are also a lot of fringe players coming through and some youngsters on the brink of first team football, and moyes would give them a chance to prove themselves, with spurs owners looking to cut costs to build a new stadium, moyes would be the ideal replacement.

Isnt moyes contract up at the end of next season?????

i think when moyes signed a 5 year contract 4 years ago, we were in negotiations to build a new stadium and if that happened we would have had new owners, but its just not worked out. im not sure what else moyes can acheive here under the current restrictions, I hope we have new owners within the next few months But I cant see it happening.
