A sad day not to be forgotten. Was in Phoenix on the day, due to drive to San Diego. Everyone stunned. Started saving for trip to New York the day we got home, to show respect and support for the city and for those who died on that day.

Never forgotten. RIP

Those who were flying across country to see family.
Those who were just going in to work that day to provide for their family
Those first responders who did their duty with bravery and courage
Those who walked out the door that morning for the rest of their lives and left behind fathers, mothers, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, sons & daughers to pick up the pieces.

May we also remember the 40th anniversary of the CIA backed coup in Chile which put the multi-murdering Pinochet in power. Rest in peace the 2,300 victims of that regime. September 11 doesn't have much cheer for anyone, it seems.
