9/11 - 12 years ago today

In before the inevitable lock.

Third year in a row I'll be flying on September 11th. Always gets to me a wee bit when I think about what the passengers must have been thinking in the minutes leading up to their death.

There, but for the grace of God, go we.

Currently at the vanguard of the anti-Assad forces in Syria - the forces now getting western arms, political backing, and soon to be benefiting from American air strikes.
 

Only hope today isn't used to bring up 'that' argument and equally not used to tell us how we all need to 'understand' better.

RIP those who died.

Did the 9/11 memorial tour while I was in NYC a few months back, a brilliant yet chilling experience.

RIP to those innocent people who died.
 
Such a mad day that was, I was working on Whitehall at the time and spent the entire afternoon and evening waiting for a plane to crash into Parliament, 10 Downing Street or the Foriegn Office. Then going home on an eerily silent Tube.
