The British-Iranian billionaire had arrived at Goodison Park in February 2016 flush with cash and, as he told the club's general meeting a year later, harbouring dreams of helping Everton return to the elite. “We don't want to be a museum,” Moshiri said. “We need to be competitive and we need to win.

That 1 sticks with me the most.

“The fans must know we have done the hard bit. We have paid the debts, we are free to do what we want, we have the finances.”
Didn’t he say also that the club would need never worry about money again in an interview and that supposed large bid we put in for Koulibaly was just ‘pocket change’

He said a lot of things mate.

Jan 2023.

"The club is not for sale but I have been talking to top investors, really quality, to bridge a gap on the stadium," he told the club's Fan Advisory Board. "I can do it myself and the reason I want to do it is to bring top sport investors to Everton. We are close to having a deal done. It is not selling the club at all. It is bringing more expertise in terms of sponsorship, commercial development and a lot of specialist sport investors have this pool of knowledge."

Everton takeover news: Farhad Moshiri agrees to sell club to American investment fund

Premier League club Everton are set to have new owners after Farhad Moshiri agreed to sell his 94% stake to American investment fund 777 Partners.

You arent wrong mate and I dont hate the man as much as most, rightly, do.

But hes constantly chatted biscuits.

The biggest is the 1 that is hurting us the most.

This isnt factual, so it will be corrected, but basically the council offered us a loan, shady asf no doubt cos Anderson, we said no, Moshiri said he would fund it at 1 point and here we are, DEEP and I mean DEEP in the poo, mainly cos the Stadium and yes, partly cos his golden egg got taken away.

So I accept your mitigation, but I still dont trust a single word the little weasel says.

No one can make anyone else feel differently than how they do. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on the man.

That loan would have helped no doubt. But it was for a lot less than the stadium actually cost so we would have still needed approx 500 million coming from elsewhere and was still more than a commercial loan at that point. In hindsight everything is easy. If everything flipped and we had taken that loan but banks said we would have done that for much cheaper, then everyone would have been on his back for that (lots of people were saying why isn't he funding the stadium at the time anyhow), can't win really.
