Yeah that figure is hugely inflated by the top 6 paying players £300k a week. What’s the average for teams outside of the top 6? I’d like to see which players outside of the top 6 are earning over £100k per week, I bet there’s about 10 maximum. 5 or 6 of those have probably been ours.

That's the going rate for good players. If you want good players, that's what you pay. Paying Pickford that wage has helped keep us in the Premier League, the value far exceeds the cost.

Again, the issue is giving that to bad players. Which is mostly what we've done (and continue to do with Doucoure).

Quite a bit on the interweb about them working together.
It does seem to be all the same names interlinked. Najafi has invested jointly with 777 in the past.

STX Entertainment, the Robert Simonds-founded film and TV studio that once hoped to compete with Hollywood majors by focusing on mid-budget, talent-driven projects, has found another buyer in an investor consortium led by Najafi Companies. Investment firms AS Birch Grove LP and 777 Partners joined in financing the deal, which was unveiled Friday.”

We should ring AS Birch Grove LLP see if they fancy lobbing £150m down the drain. Everyone else has.

Or banning a player for gambling rather than looking to help him with something that is clearly a big problem. At the same time as having ads for betting all over the show. They’ve taken hypocrisy to the level of an art form
Both help and punishment are not mutually exclusive events.

There has to be punishment to try to avoid future occurrences.

There should of course also be help readily available.

When talking about Premiership players it isn't as if they will go hungry while not playing.

It's like Moshiri is like bill - not wanting to let his train set go ? Let's hope he has a cunning plan ?
Maybe over the last seven years that this was what Bill Kenwright was trying to deal with, an owner who was absent and clueless and a proxy owner(Moshiri) who was present and even more clueless.

He's also had a very public falling out with Palace fans.

Over 90% of our income has been going on wages, no player at this club should be on £100k+ per week, not Pickford, not Doucoure, not any of them. It's too much. Getting rid of Gomes and Dele will help but we have to get a grip on contracts and wages, we have given money away for nothing the last few years.
Waffle. How do you know Onanas salary?

IF you look at this, you can determine that we pay our players a pretty hefty wage, unless we have some of the highest paid tea ladies in the league.
