It sounds strange but credits also to the Premier League board who has literally smoked out 777. They challenged them to the limit and now all comes clear.

I wonder if they know this at Hertha Berlin, Vasco da Gama, Sevilla and Genua.

777 bought Standard Liege at 100 %, other club they have a share. That might make a difference.
It’s genuinely scary what would be going on now if the PL had just held their noses and waved 777 through.

As much of a mess as they’ve made on other matters when it comes to this they’ve done more to safeguard the club than our esteemed owner has.

And Masters will still allow it to happen
Personally, I think there’s no way the Premier League wave this through now, whatever assurances 777 give them.

It’s clear to the world that 777 is on the verge of collapse. If the Premier League approved this takeover, and 777 dragged us down with them, it’d be a PR disaster for the league and make a complete mockery of the idea that it might be able to govern itself.

The big questions still remain

Are there other interested parties out there who want to buy Everton?

Are they willing to meet Moshiri's valuation?

Is Moshiri willing to lower his asking price ?

I have no idea on all of the above

Repayment by 777 Partners of a £158 million loan to Everton by a number of creditors had been due on April 15, but Moshiri negotiated an extension to that until the end of the season.

In the meantime, more doubts over 777 Partners’ ability to fund the club in the long-term have reared and are such that Moshiri could now break off the agreement. Should he proceed with that — and in the past he has been known to change his mind on matters — he would have to provide funding for the club from his own pocket or turn to an alternative source. It is understood there are other parties interested in acquiring Everton.

More importantly, are the interested parties able to fund the club. Not being 777 doesn’t necessarily mean they will be appropriate owners

Thing about Moshiri he must be thick and naive to say the least, Bill persuaded him so he could remain chairman, these 777 clowns keep stalling saying they will get the money, while every man and his dog can see they haven't a pot to go to.

Why doesn't he sell at a reasonable price, there must be someone out there
You could actually say that Moshiri has played 777. They have given him £200 million in working capital and he remains the clubs owner.

Is it the Labour Party, they'll accept anyone.
