The ref chickened out of giving a scrum penalty to England at the death.

He made it clear he wasn't deciding it on a 50/50 scrum call. Refs get tons of criticism after every big match but he was largely fine imo.
Scotland did well to win. When they got chances to play they showed way more than England. The forwards were good for England though. Backline wasn't at the same level.
As an Englishman who absolutely despises the English and thinks that it's a country full of cunning stunts I was delighted to see Ireland, Everton and Scotland win today
