It was 3rd May 2007 that a beautiful little child was snatched from her bed in a Portuguese complex at Playa de Luz. The Portuguese authorities believe the McCann parents killed her and disposed of the body, and are therefore are extremely reticent to entertain the idea of investigating this any further. Despite the lack of proof i might add. Indeed the Lead investigator at the time of the crime, Goncalo Amaral, has since published a book profitting hugely from the incident itself. Whether or not you believe the McCanns had any thing to do with it- Maddy was one of our own, a little scouse lass and more. She was a little toffee lady. Please please please post to facebook, twitter any global forum to raise the awareness again. Madelaine would be 9 now. Please dont let people forget about this beautiful little girl.

The McCanns belive it is this little dress that made Madelaine "attractive" to whoever snatched her. personally i do believe she was stolen to order. i pray she is alive, and on the other hand i hope she died. i dont want to think about what happened to her if she was taken for 'other' reasons. i'm getting angry thinking about it, if they find whoever took her i hope they burn in hell forever.

This. You don't want to think about the consequences of her being taken for reasons other than to provide a rich family with a daughter and you hope she hasn't had to suffer through that. On the other hand you want her to be found alive and well.

can't begin to imagine what her family must go through on a daily basis.....wherever she is, i hope they find her. Forever in our thoughts and prayers.

One thing that will never alter is her eye, I don't know if any of you have ever seen someone with this condition but you see it straight away, a lad when we were kids had it and you saw it instantly, he's still the only person I've met with it, so not exactly something you see every day.
