I live in Leeds and work some weekends, I dont have a season ticket because of it, if they where £250 I would.

How many others are in a similar position.

When/if we move, if they knock out the ST at £250 and £99 a kid you'd get 50k in the first season easily i'd suspect

I live in Exeter so it's a 500 mile round trip for me, having said that if I could get me and my lad seasons tickets for £350 then I would buy them for sure

The reason the tickets are comparatively cheap is because they are indirectly financed by you and me, the tax-payer. Due to Karren Brady being a Tory, the govt gave West Ham the stadium for peanuts and included most of the maintenance costs too. Hence, due to not having major outlays like this, West Ham can charge relatively low prices for season tickets. Rejoice, lads...!
"Due to Karen Brady being a Tory"
Cmon, they did just win a huge majority at general election, so there are more Tories than any other party voters.
The WHU board must have been on their toes and submitted excellent business plan yonks ago - certainly doesn't feel right for a business to profit like this from tax paid infrastructure, but it is the right thing to do. Gets stadium used for decades and will bring in millions to deprived area. Newham's a complete dive, the area will benefit which must be the right thing.
Just hope the rent for the stadium isn't fixed low for too long. It'll be hiked up at some stage.
