Being around the same age as James Bulgers killers and lived near where he was taken, surreal time. Horrible.
Yeah I had just started at University around that time. The trial was in Preston as well where I was studying. Definitely surreal. I used to hang around near to Wellbrow Road, where the Crown Paints used to be near to the track when they found the poor child.

Well done to the police with their investigation. Looked painstaking with all the CCTV they had to watch for 1-2 seconds of footage. Especially with the car.

It’s a grim series, big contrast though. One was 9 years old and was killed by an utter scumbag, the other was involved with the wrong crowd.

The poor girl was with and did anything for an absolute rat of a boyfriend, I don’t blame her for it but it’s says a lot about the people we live with.

Watched the 4 episodes now.

There is some real scum in this world , but these little scrote's live in the gutter.
Horrible despicable toe rags that have no use in this society or part of our world.

It's a very tough watch with some heart rendering scenes , how the little girls mum held herself together god only knows .
Hats off to the police & detectives in the way they handled everything.

It's very well put together , without sensationalising it.
Not for everyone I have to admit.

I can't face watching it, couldn't bring myself to watch the Rhys Jones drama either. I'm already disappointed enough with humanity.

Worst thing about the Rhys Jones was his murderer and his scum bag mates laugh about it.

Same thing with Thomas Cashman, his “bird” getting dolled up for the sentencing and his family screaming for his innocence.

I don’t think people in the city realise we have an invasion of rats, I’m sure there must be some on here associated with them.

If your child is doing wheelies on a motorcross bike in the middle of town or near, they’re one of them.

Watched something called 'The Detectives, fighting organised crime' on bbc last year or year before. Very troubling, to the extent of being put of this this time round. The Bulger documentaries were plenty full on awful detail. All very troubling and wearying.

I agree with you here.

I've every sympathy for addicts but those people who buy a 'harmless' little bag of coke on the regular as part of a night out or going the game that they could quite easily not bother with need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Agreed on that. What I meant was she knew the crowd she was involved with, look at her fella and her mum.

They enjoyed it till it got nasty.
