I know it's been discussed on this forum before but with Moyes doing it yesterday could we see it next season?

We have 3 quality CB's, a world class LB in Baines, and someone that has the potential to do the same at RB next season in Coleman. I'm thinking 5 - 2 - 2 - 1 with Baines and Coleman as wing backs:

Howard
Coleman Heitinga Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini Rodwell
Drenthe Pienaar
Jelavic

That looks quite boss to me, just a shame that a couple of the players might not be here next season.

EDIT: Cannot count, that looks better.

Thoughts?

been covered before, NO-ONE successful in world football plays it , mainly cos football has moved on and full backs essentially play the same role as wing backs but without needing another centre back, much more is now expected from full backs in the modern game

I'm not sure if we need a wing back on the right or, if we would, I'd opt for someone with more attacking provess than Coleman to justify that. What I'd like to see is to get more creative players in the midfield.

i think we should be playing coleman RB against the lesser teams in this division, thats where we struggle IMO, no point in having neville playing to justife the non-threat of wigan wingers etc. Must be pointed out that moyes swapped coleman and drenthe to nulify the threat of bale on the right, therefore a step in the right direction that he thinks coleman can be playing further back sooner rather than later?hope so
