4G

Bilbo

I see small things. Only bigger.
Does anyone have a info on getting a "deal" on Three's network?

I'm on mates rates with Virgin (unlimited everything for £12.38 a month - but no 4G).

Preston (where I live, and oh how I laughed on Sunday) has 4G coverage and Three does 4G. I thought it was for business users only, but I now seem to recall reading anyone with 4G can use it and it's in the price. But the good package is £22 for 600 minutes and all you can eat data ( I assume that means unlimited texts and internet each month) but that's a 12 month contract (my current Virgin is 30 day rolling sim).

I'm on pay as you go with 3 (Yeah I know bad scruff etc...) I pay 15 quid a month for 300 minutes, 3000 texts and unlimited data.

I'm on contract with 3, 4G streams things ridiculously fast.

Watched about five minutes of an Everton game once before I used my 2gig.

I have been with 3 for the last few mths on a pay as you go to try it out, used to have virgin unlimited everything, that in reality is anything but that it slows down, after about 2 and a half to 3 meg a mth of use to be honest it was crap even before then.
i had just given up using it other than about twice a mth, after that its just browsing,i got an offer to stay for about what you are paying to stay , the agent admited it to me about the fair usage policy( go on there forum and see the complaints) i told him its not worth having no matter how cheap if it dosnt work,
i have been hammering the footy and films in work , can only get 3 g there but its so much better,
Virgin for home broadband have been decent, but i wouldnt ever go back to there mobile after changing

I'm not interested in 4g, but I'd go with EE if you are instead of 3...

I'm gonna change to 3 becau7se of the app that gives you signal at home 'stay in touch,' will go on the unlimited data plan that you are on about £22, I'm sure you can do it on a 30 day rolling one though ?

cba paying more with a new phone as happy with Galaxy Nexus still, not 4g but nea.
I'll be having daughters nexus 4 probably at some point this year or if mine carks it I'll get a moto g.

In some areas of the UK 4G is up to 3 times faster... but in others it only trims off tenths of a second to load a standard web page. EE is supposed to be the fastest but apparently Tesco Mobile offers free 4G for new and existing PAYG/monthly customers.

I've got a brick phone so that's all I know.

I use 4G with three and pay £15 a month for unlimited 4G.
Never had a problem, works all over Europe too.
