4 Weddings, hopefully no Funerals

Weddings huh. Anyone else got a shed load to attend this year?

It appears all my best friends are getting married this year, with another couple more next year, greeeet. I've never been involved in a wedding party before, but I'm a best man for one in July, a Groomsman (is that an American Usher? A Groomsman sounds like someone who's been talking to Roofie and Spike online....erm, like us) for one in August in America, an Usher in October and I'm doing the music playlist for one wedding too, again, greeet. Next year one of them is in Italy too FFS.

Of course, this also means stag do's galore, that part I'm quite happy with obviously

Any tips, hints for speeches, or any wedding songs you enjoy dry humping the bridesmaids to on the dance floor would be more than appreciated, if you would please post them here

I couldn't agree more, nothing beats a wedding day for boozing. Not sure how much I fancy getting up and making a speech half boozed though in front of 150 people!

Making the playlist should be good, they're possibly having 99 Problems as their first dance, so I can't go too wrong surely
 
A groomsman's just a male bridemaid, to balance out the wedding party. You'll walk down the aisle with a bridesmaid at the beginning of the wedding, probably wearing a tux that matches the other groomsmen and best man.

I have one wedding this year, my brother's. He's decided to get married at the end of July which is about the most expensive time to fly home so I'm leaning toward not going.

Don't know if you've looked yet mate but you're probably looking at upwards of 750 quid for your flight in august, depending on location and time of the month, hope you really like this person.

Yeah, thankfully I managed to book early. Got myself a nice deal on direct flights with BA. Flying on my own though but I know an Air Hostess for BA, so I'm gonna see what I can do to get a free upgrade!!

Groomsmans a male Bridesmaid then huh, I've been called worse, I can deal with that. I'm apparently walking a 6ft3 Basketball playing girl down the aisle. Oh my. The wedding is in a Cowboy town called Julian

Nor am I Nik, don't worry. One day though, they will all get married in the same year and screw your life over with how happy they are =)
 

I had an outstanding record at relatives and friends weddings before mrs ijjy came along.

Smashed bridesmaids at all but one in my late teens early 20s.

Great days.
