3rd kit madness

It's £2 per shirt more than Everton are giving the charity.

Why is this a bad thing? In fact I'd say it's a win win - a VERY good marketing idea from Birmingham and a profit for the charity, both in terms of finance and in terms of exposure.

Rather than criticise Birmingham, I'd criticise our own marketing team for not being this innovative - or even having feckin' baby clothes on sale in the shops.

To be fair to Everton mate, they are generally very good with charities whether they do it in a shirt or not. Remembering when we did that pink version of the home shirt that all went to cancer. I'm not sure they could do it every year.

Just becuase EFC aren't doing it via a shirt, doesnt mean they arent contributing mate.

On a site note, i remember when my dad had his almost fatal car crash, the club were amazing, also sent us a signed pennant and a few other signed gifts.

We did a charity shirt and I may have it wrong but gave more than that to the charity. The club still got criticised then and even now for not doing one.

This club is definitley in a lose lose situation in some peoples minds.

As long as you make the away shirt completely different from the home, there is never a need for a third kit. The only time I can think of is if you're Cardiff City and you're playing Crystal Palace away.

No wonder mate. Pennant was ****e. Plus it was Benitez who signed him. Who wants that?

Pat Nevin on MOTD said that when he was involved with one club, he actually decided not to produce a third kit because he didn't want to 'fleece' the fans. The fans then got angry and said 'you produce the third kit, we'll decide whether to buy it or not'.

How anybody can say Everton is 'ripping off' supporters by producing a wider range of merchandise is honestly beyond me. It's totally absurd.

How many homes by Goodison have fat tellys in their front room?

Scallys spend money on important things, footy tops being one of them, win-win for all involved.
