If we entertain a bit of realism peppered with some optimism that we don't lose our best players then 3 extra players would mean putting 3 current first team players on the bench. I would be happy to see players better than Sylvain, Leon and Vic or Jeli for example. No disrespect to any of them. Ditto Tim Howard or Seamus and Pienaar or even Gibson.
Felli, Baines, Kev and Jags are the best 4 players in our side without a doubt - Kev isn't totally fit yet and Felli can get pressed into filling a less effective role. We would want a top notch centre mid to do all the things Felli isn't so keen to do. We need an upcoming centre half and probably a centre forward. Putting the current starters on the bench would make our squad very strong.
