Stones will be RCB and Jagielka LCB. We will have Galloway and Browning coming through, though with Galloway only 18 we need another player to make up 4 centre backs for next season.

Martinez has an opportunity here to sign someone around Stones age who can push Jagielka out and make the LCB position is own.

What type of centre back would that be -- I'd guess a Vidic/Puyol type though with Martinez maybe he will go for another ball player?

How are they positives, one is a solid premier league defender who has now come to the end of his career and Martinez has proved he will not be able to replace him and he can't sign a decent defender and the other is a player who should never of been signed

Did you not understand 3rd and 4th paragraphs? The positive is that martinez han opportunity here to sign stones long term partner.
