$2800 per month for every adult - Switzerland

Just to give this piece some context;

Switzerland has an unemployment rate of only 3% - 240,000 people.

Their average wage is $7000 a month......

It sounds like a negative income tax proposal.

I think it could work - at least better than the current system - but as ever the question is at what level do you set it ($2800 seems FAR to high for me).

Also, realise that it is a radical replacement to the welfare system common to most countries, not an addition to it. The state guarantees you an income, but you get nothing else. The problem then becomes that people want to have their cake and eat it - benefits AND guaranteed income.

not letting me click on it for some bizarre reason.

So every adult will be getting 2800 a month? Why work then :/
