25 Memorable Everton moments?

Sharpy's goal and the guy in the coat and glasses celebrating on the pitch. Still makes me chuckle now.

Aside from ones that have already been mentioned (eg Arteta v Fiorentina, Horne v Wimbledon, johnson/carsley/gosling home derbies, kanchelskis/campbell away derbies, Fellaini's 360) the rest of mine are a combination of Everton being boss, and personal reasons:

October 1991 - Everton 0-2 Villa, my first game - yeah we lost, but I was hooked.

December 1991 - Everton 4-0 West Ham - first time I saw us win - all the sweeter because my dad was a West Ham fan.

Cup final 1995 - Southall's double save in particular

Summer 1995 - Signing Kanchelskis, thinking we were going to be ace for ages

August 2002 - 1-1 vs Birmingham - not a great game, but the first time i saw Rooney play for us - remember just being amazed at this kid of 16 just bullying defenders.

February 2003 - Radzinski's winner v Southampton - in a pub in Stafford on my lunch break from work . Went absolutely mental.

April 2005 - Duncan's diving header v United, the night after my younger daughter was born

November 2005 - Yobo's winner v Newcastle on my daughter's christening day - very personal one this because the day was probably the best of my life, and winning that game was just like the cherry on the top of a super ace cake.

February 2006 - Everton 1-0 Man City, again not the best game like, but first time i took my eldest to Goodison. She's still not been to a game we've lost yet.

February 2011 - Everton 2-0 Sunderland my youngest daughter's first game

It's a very unique feeling when you take one of your kids to a game for the first time and you can see that moment in their face where they properly 'get it' for the first time, just like you did however many years previously. I've been lucky enough to have that twice so far - hopefully make it a third this season.

Wayne Clarke winner at highbury late 80s when he lobbed John Lukic, was one of my first London away games too

Scoring seven against Southampton
4-4 with the RS and giving KK (retired) loads of grief
Kanchelskis - just Kanchelskis
Big Dunc shirt off goal against UTD
Aberdeen preseason some time in the 90s so drunk
Wembley 95 seeing my arl fella cry for the first time
Who put the ball in the RS net super kevin Campbell
Matty Jackson giving me some chocolate biscuits on the team bus after a game
Up until half time at Wembley the other week

Right guys need 5 more, 4 set inbetween 60-90 and 1 set from 95-2000 So any goodens in that year please :)

The FA Cup finals against L'pool in the 80s. Can't remember specifically which one, but I'd only just started supporting Everton, and remember crying my eyes out after they won thanks to Rush's goals (3-1 game I think it was??).

Most of my other ones have been mentioned already. Don't really remember much from 95-2000 really, couldn't follow the team so well from a distance in those days :(

My best memory, stood in the passeway onboard HMS Illustrious in the Adriatic listening to the 95 FA Cup final on BBC Worls Service, what a party afterwards. My boss knew how important it was to me and let me get off work early so i could listen to it. What a gent (and he was a redsh**e as well!)

oh and Kanchelskis first goals for us against the sh**e, i think one was a header? about 95ish as well loved that man with a passion that was unhealthy

In no particular order

1. v Watford October 86 - first game, Tricky Trev's twice taken penalty & Mountfield's 'hat-trick'
2. v Luton May 87 - Lifting the Championship
3. v City 86 at Maine Road - legging through Moss Side with my Dad away from a massive scrap (i was 8 years old)
4. v Arsenal 2002 That Rooney goal - and the bedlam afterwards
5. v 'them' 04 Carsley winner - first time i'd seen us win a derby (being there that is)
that's just to start

10, Charity Shield in '95 - 1st trip to Wembley, and only one to the Old Wembley
11, Everton 3-1 Newcastle, last game of season - Minibus full of Newcastle fans singing "We wanna get out of this place........"
