Its got to be the most boring job in television, especially sky sport news. Its always a male and female presenters where hes got to wear the same coloured tie as her dress.
They burst onto our screens for the start of their two hour shift full of in your face enthusiasm, by the end of the first hour you can feel their cry for deaths sweet release by constantly repeating the same muck over and over........ How they do it on the ghost shift is beyond me.

Just in - I now hate them on a repeating 15 minute cycle.

I was confined to bed in a hotel in Dubai once. 24 hour Dubai News is ffs. It was like 20 years ago, and I still break into a cold sweat when I think about it.

The problem with 24 hour news is that there isn't enough real news to fill it, so they either just repeat the same couple of stories over and over or else they report on the most humdrum banal non-news items there are and dress it up as a major story.

I would love just once for the presenters to be honest and say "Nothing interesting happened today"
