To be insured on my dads car for a year...:lol::lol: What the hell is that all about?

My dad in response down the phone: "What? Hes actually passed his test and I never said he had no arms or legs you know?" - Well, it made me laugh.

Hastings.

I couldn't be arsed filling in all the details on Quinn-Direct. Any idea how much they'd charge? (Cars a 1.8 litre)

Ouch, 1.8 :o

I would love to drive one a 1.8

Not sure.

But it's 1,095 quid for a 1.3 fiesta :P

My first car (my own car) was a 2.5 (165hp/166lb-ft) then I moved to a 2.0 (285hp/260lb-ft)turbo. Now I have a 2.5 Turbo (275hp/290lb-ft) and a 2.7(130hp/190lb-ft).

At the heart of my reckless years, with a couple of speeding tickets under my belt I payed $220 a month. Now, with those tickets gone, all of my insurance (both cars and home) comes to $65 a month.

My advice......move to the USA, it's cheaper to insure a car.

Yes but your State dept does not want people to go and live there. It's hard enough just going for a holiday, neurotics seem to in charge of your government.

my first insurance was about 1500, its about average for a car 1.1 /1.2 / 1.3 ... anything above and u can expect a bit of a [Poor language removed] quote..

just think, i pay 50 quid a month, and my last car was a 434bhp 3.0litre twin turbo, and im only 24 :D

Subaru don't do 3.0 turbos. If I had to guess I would go with a Mitsubishi 3000GT (or GTO depending on where it was sold)

My sister got a better quote then that, shes 20, got points on her license, enough speeding tickets and crashed into enough objects or cars.
