Anyone catch the opening two races of the Challenger Cup (Prada Pirelli blah blah)???

Ineos Team GB, after losing all their practice races come out the gates fighting and wins the opening two races! Beating the favorite (American Magic) by well over a minute, and Luna Rossa by 20+ seconds.

Sir Ben Ainslie and the team displaying their experience on the starts and then controlling the race course!

Saw some of those boats in Bermuda a few years back.

Was out on the water a few times watching them practice. Fantastic things.

But.......from a technical/engineering standpoint, it is absolutely fascinating!

Also I have the pleasure of being able to watch live, in person!!

I watched these things racing around San Francisco harbour a few years back, so impressive. The speed they reach is incredible. The money involved plus the money that follows the sport is eye watering.
