Which ones you have seen? your fave to win the Best Picture?

I have seen 5 out of 9; Marriage Story, The Irishman, Pariste, OUATIH and Joker. And I would pick either Joker or Parasite, knowing the Academy never went with foreign film for the best picture even after nominating them for it (Amour, Roma etc) so Joker would be the one for me.

Would like to read your take ons, especially about the ones I heven't seen yet.

No Uncut Gems is dreadful. Film is incredible.

1917 will win Best Picture I'd imagine based just on Golden Globe's.

Most of the other films in this list are more divisive though that's the issue. 1917 is a safe choice. Just hope Once Upon doesn't get it.

I'd vote Joker of course.

The nominations are not BAME enough, these should make up at least 75%.

(I haven't even seen the nominations but I guess this is what will be pointed out in the twittersphere...)

As it has only just been released it may have missed the cut and go into next year's nominations.

I’ve seen the Irishman and Ford vs. Ferrari. While I enjoyed both films, I can’t imagine either one winning Best Picture

There was talk of Oscar wins for Sandler and the film back in early November

Well if it missed out due to release date will it then not maybe be in the next list?

I don't think Joker will win as its too divisive (Pheonix will win acting, I think), same with JoJo (not sure how this is there)

Parasite probably won't because it's foreign.

The Irishman seems to be very ignored so far.

No one cares about Ford.

The Marriage Story could do well, depending on if there is too much of a Netflix backlash.

I think Little Women will do well but not win this.

The academy love films about themselves and they love war films so 1917 will probably do better than it should.

I think Hollywood will win using all of above although I would like Parasite.
