Who are people rooting for?

Would I be right in assuming that most people will be backing Man Utd because it will mean that if Utd finish in the top 5 this season it will create an extra European spot in the league meaning that finishing 6th will see that team qualify for Europa League next season.

Given that we are 7th at the moment we will need Utd to win the EFL Cup and for another top 5/6 side to win the FA Cup this season for another European spot in the league to drop down to 7th spot.

Need a United win to keep alive Europa for us. We would have had 2 more years of European football under Moyes except one year Wigan and Swansea won both cups meaning even finishing 6th ahead of Liverpool didn't qualify us, and another year we finished 7th again ahead of Liverpool but they went and won the league cup without qualifying for Europe so again we had no European football. I don't particularly want to be screwed over again by a freak once in a lifetime Southampton cup win.

Feel dirty for saying this but utd. For two reasons, one to get the extra Europa spot. (but even so bound to see an underdog win the FA cup to deny 7th getting a European slot, guarantee it)

Second after that crap about Southampton being a bigger club than us last summer I wouldn’t want them winning anything to help back up their case.
