Bookies not far wrong here as usual. They've got the last 4 correct except for India instead of England who will blow up as per usual. Or maybe Sri Lanka as an outside bet. The Kiwis have been impressive recently and should make the last 4 at home but there is no doubt that the Aussies and South Africa are the 2 favourites. Hoping here that Ireland will make the Q/Fs as it would give us a massive lift.

Saffas will choke, England will sneak through to at least the semis playing awful cricket, Aussie will blow out and Pakistan will come from nowhere and win the entire thing.

No idea who's going to win this. Would love to put NZ up there as favourites but they don't like that tag and their bowlers, whilst being aggressive, fast wicket takers, are liable to go for a few runs if it goes wrong and injury prone.

It's going to be amazing though, pumped for it!

Aussie will be trumped by a Kohli 150 or Pakistan spinners, that's what it will take anyway, I can't/don't want to see them win.

Regarding England, oh they're rubbish, but they'll fluke their way through somehow, they're quite jammy at tournaments.

Kiwis could do well if we can stay at home (best pool record between us and Oz will decide home venue if we play). We have good form, and surprising depth, but will probably loose a heartbreaker in the semis again.

Taking the family to West Indies vs Pakistan in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it. Been a long time since I last went to a ODI.

I feel England will inevitably have a batting collapse in one the games which'll see them knocked out.

Really don't want Aus to win, but can't really see past them... South Africa maybe, if de Villiers has the tournament of his life.

Australia v England at MCG today?
Heavy rain and storms overnight, expected to clear by 2.30pm start but we have had a lot of rain the past 12 hours. Still raining now at 8am. Touch and go to start on time...

England will be all out for 150.

Big game starting soon, NZ vs Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka have Malinga back from injury, and although he's not 100% fit he causes the kiwi batsmen nightmares. Got a feeling NZ will be a little timid in this, home nerves, and if McCullum doesn't score big then they may lose this.
