2014 International Champions Cup (preseason)

So the preseason "cup" in the USA we were in is coming around again and the lineup was just announced.

It was fun when we were in this one, highlight had to be us beating Roma in PKs after Pirlo misses and Stones steps up and chips it in. wow.

As a US fan, I'm sad we aren't in this again as it is huge for name and brand recognition just to be associated with the rest of those clubs, and now Liverpool have taken our place. Grumble.

They screwed us royally last time so not too arsed to be honest.

Can understand our American fans being a bit annoyed though.

But we were never likely to be invited back!

right, sorry. it was juve not roma.
So Juve, Valencia, and us have been replaced by liverpool, Roma, and Olympiakos.

They changed the rules because they didn't get the fixtures the sponsors wanted and with the screwing of our fans over they can do one.

Last year's fixture in San Francisco against Juve was my first "live" Everton match and it was such a great night out! I was briefly excited when I saw the advert but then saw, to my chagrin, the out mighty boys in blue had not been included and that they're aren't playing in SF and worst of all, the dark side has been included! I'll swerve!
