2012/13 Player Award Predictions

I haven't seen Oviedo do anything of note yet, not that he's been given much of a chance. Would give Coleman young player as he's looked class at RB.

Once you're 23/24 you shouldn't be considered a youth player really.

we seriously have no real candidates for youth player of the year because they never get played. It'll have to be based on what they've done in the reserves surely?

Baines player of the year for me. Consistent every week while Felli will be boss one week and then average the next

Yeah I'm thinking Baines is going to swoop the awards again. Every game he has been class. While Felli has been good he has had trouble dealing with opposition who try to rile him up and man mark him. Without Baines I think Felli would be player of season without a doubt but when superhuman Baines is in the team he makes everyone around look kind of average in comparison with his efforts and ability.

I believe Coleman is eligible because he was 23 when the season started and then turned 24 in October. While Seamus has been great, it's kind of sad seeing he's going to win it again because he's practically the only candidate and he's been injured half the season. I don't know, I just kind of hope that every year the young player award will go to a new player as an U21 would have been integrated with the first team. :/
