Hopefully I don't end up being the only guy who posts in this thread, but tonight the German Bundesliga gets underway as Borussia Dortmund take on Werder Bremen. I love this league and I'm wearing my Lederhosen tonight in anticipation. Anyone joining me?

Most attractive league in Europe for me. Go Dortmund. They recovered from losing Sahin last season. This summer they've lost Kagawa but brought in Reus.

I will be watching it. Love the german league, especially Bayern who I am going to see early next year.

Love it.

Booked up for my first weekender of the season. 14-15 September: Augsburg v Wolfsburg, then Greuther Furth v Schalke.

Bayern will really push hard this season, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them tilt Dortmund off top spot. Hamburg might be resurgent.

Me! Love the Bundesliga. Easily the most entertaining league, and the most admirable.

Indeed. They lost Sahin AND Gotze was injured for almost all of the last season. Those two, alongside Kagawa, were probably their three key players in their 10/11 title win. But they survived. It will be tough without Shinji Kagawa but Reus is a beast.

I didn't think Dortmund could reclaim the title last year to be honest, but they surpassed my expectation. I hope whatever happens they can have a better run in the CL.

I'm also a Dortmund enthusiast, have been since I was younger thanks to spending a few years in Germany as a child. I remember seeing hoards of their supporters walking past where I lived dressed in yellow and wanting to go where they were going - I never did. That said, I really need to change that at some point. The Kop at the Westfalenstadion is the only Kop worth standing on.

Reus starts tonight, Gotze doesn't. De Bruyne starts for Werder.

I wanted to do one for the eredivise but I thought that no one would post in it

however, i'm going for 2-0 Dortmund

Didn't realise Werder Bremen had signed Elia. That will be an interesting match up as Piszczek is injured so BD are missing their first choice RB.

Reus and Lewandowski though... what a strikeforce.
