We're delighted to announce that Paddy Power have renewed their sponsorship of GrandOldTeam which will see it become the sites exclusive online betting partner for the next 12 months.

We're as skint as Bill Kenwright, and without the support from a commercial partner, GrandOldTeam would be unsustainable, and rather than throw irrelevant, intrusive adverts in your face - we've instead worked to deliver a partner offering genuine appeal to our fans.

Last season, Paddy Power, which provides competitive odds across a huge range of popular sports from both its own retail outlets in the UK and Ireland and its website - www.paddypower.com, gave exclusive DOUBLE the normal market odds for GrandOldTeam readers.

Fans enjoyed a massive payout on the 6/1 odds given on Everton beating Liverpool at Goodison, and the 8/1 odds given on Everton to beat Man Utd at Goodison was probably the reason David Moyes was so irate when he ran on the pitch at full time to remonstrate with referee Martin Atkinson after he blew his whistle with Phil Jagielka closing in on goal for a potential winner.

We also bartered for countless other enhanced first goalscorer odds - offering Saha at 10/1 for first goalscorer in a few games.

As well as providing supporters with enhanced specials, fans who sign up via GrandOldTeam receive a free matched bet worth up to £50

So if you fancy a flutter next season, please support GrandOldTeam by using PaddyPower as your bookie of choice - signing up via our link attached to our PaddyPower adverts.

Hoping to secure a couple of specials in the new year - timed as Everton begin the usual Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde transformation.

Opened this thread to keep all updated on Everton/Paddy Power related specials.

Gamble responsibly - and all that.

I would sign up, but due to silly gambling laws, they can't accept US residents :(

So forgive my total ignorance, but, does that mean that theres NO bookmakers in America AT ALL?

How do the Young lids over there get their illegals??

*cough*

Anyway, so how does it work, no gambling AT ALL? Or only at Racing tracks???

Guess I should google this............

would they be U.S. laws by any chance ?

No doubt. Wouldn't want others encroaching on their territory.

No mate, there's TONS. Nevada has 2 large cities dedicated to gambling. New Jersey also has one. I think they are just protective of their areas.

Yeah but over here, theres a Bookmakers on nearly every corner.

I mean near where I live theres 5 within walking distance and around 100 within jogging distance.

Do you have that sort of thing? Places to throw money on the dogs/horses/football and stuff?

Or just the likes of Vegas and so on?

I just checked. There is a federal law that restricts sports betting to just a few states (Nevada and New Jersey and a couple of others).

And Paddy Power want in on California!!!

Allowing sports betting could mean 10,000 or more jobs for California, said Breon Corcoran, managing director of the Irish bookmaking company Paddy Power, which would like to operate sports gambling in California.

"It's a curiosity to us that Nevada is really the only state where you can do [unlimited] sports betting in the U.S.,'' Corcoran said.

Goes straight into your account. Best thing to do is if you win, go into your paddy power account and go to withdraw. Then withdraw whatever profit you make staight away. If you leave it there, its too easy to throw it on something else and lose. I have been doing well against the bookie over the last 4/5 months.
