2.5 rising to 5.5 was quoted there, it's a very good sum for an out of favor we need to get rid of and who wants more game time. The gamble on Bily just didn't work out.

The final figure probably matters more. If we do sign someone I doubt we'll be giving them all the cash up front anyway -- most deals are paid over time -- so I don't think it will matter.
