Earlier this afternoon i had my 1st ever celeb in my taxi (at least that i recognised)
David Dein was in my cab today
top bloke
gave me £4 tip

that posh new hotel in town, Mal Maison (or something like that)

sorry it wasn't goodison or belfield

knew he was kenwrights mate (he spoke highly of him)

Did he mention anything about EFC, wtf was he doing in town. Don't want to start a rumour but he is supposedly looking for a new club after he got the push at the Emirates, tell us more mate. Had he been to a meeting, what flight was he on or was it a private jet??

dunno about his flight

just chatted [Poor language removed] for 20/25min trip

talked of henry/wenger/barca

just said "up here finishing up some business"??

seems to be an admirer of what DM is trying to achieve here, didnt say much about BK

talked of the way the club seemed to be moving in the right direction!!!!!!

knew our history/tradition

GAVE ME A £4 TIP, so he's alright

Good morning feeder, did you have a good night time boozing?

IMO this thread should be in the blueroom because outsiders, who may know more than we do, might see it when browsing and add to the trail. I am certainly wondering why Bk's mate was in town, chatting to a cabbie in glowing terms about EFC and is known to be looking for another club to invest in, this just could be a GOT first. If deign wants to invest any of the £40 mil he got when he left the gooners in our club then that is news and it will have been read here first. Give this thread blueroom coverage methinks as the former chairman of G14 and best pal of BK was mysteriously in town on business, was that business EFC?

Chris, when tipping you did he ask for change of a fiver:lol:
