Hopefully this Doni guy is nervous as ****, get Baines piling crosses in the box and have a couple of early shots on target - I'm hoping he's like an early season De Gea.
 

I can see them having a good opening spell as usual like they do with most games. They started very well against Newcastle and we shouldn't write them off.
 
Didn't Doni play for Roma? the Serie A looks a bit more physical than the PL. I'm sure his not new to controlling his box.
 
To be honest hes a 32 Year old Keeper with 10 caps for Brazil.

Its not like hes a young lad thrust in the deep end.

Maybe we can hope hes a bit rusty, but hes not Richard Wright.
 
It's not how good he is, it's the understanding he won't have with his defence which means he can be targeted.

Bang crosses into the box and he won't know whether to come (lol) or stay on his line like Reina would.
 
Hes a big lad at 6foot 5, he strikes me as somebody as who would control his box.

I guess we wait and see on Saturday, hopefully he ships 12 in the next 2 games and is a complete mess come the 14th.

Yeah he played in that 7-1 whopping by Man Utd

We all know he's gonna play a blinder (hopefully by saying that, he now doesn't)
 
Maybe he usually can control his box.

But when he comes out to punch a cross and punches Skrtel's cue ball head in confusion while Jelavic nips in at the front post we'll all be celebrating.
 
Doni is a decent keeper, but he is going to be nervous as hell. Definitely a few early 25 yarders would be good, and some crosses. The problem is, if he deals with the first few crosses well then his confidence will be up. Lets hope for rain.

To be honest, I am more worried about Bellamy playing than their keeper playing well....and that RB who had a blinder against us. I'd rather see Johnson in their line up...hopefully Gueye will play and rip him to shreds. The midfield should pick itself...Gueye, Gibson, Felli, Osman and Cahill
 
There are 10 other players to worry about.

Plus, he is probably ace at saving pens
