Officially this combined with Naismith going for 8.5m means don't buy from the premiership teams anymore, plus us and Spurs are really the masters of getting absolute top whack for bang average players

To be fair though, £8.5m for Naismith is not that far off. Teams trying to avoid the drop are desperate so will gladly pay over the odds to try and stave off relegation.

I think you'll find this is the start of the market readjusting itself to the large increase in TV money next season.

Always been the case that PL players are over-priced when selling to other PL clubs. You can get players from the continent/rest of world that are as good, for a fraction of the price. The only gamble is, will they settle and adjust to the PL?

Their justification would be that he has a few England caps lol
