Except we're 6 points off top 4. People laugh that off as nothing but it's 1/10th of Davek's season target. We've not won back to back games for a long time so 6 points is difficult to make up on anyone. It's taken us 4 games to equal that tally recently. 'Only 6 points' is a large task.

From our run of '9 easy games' we have accumulated 13 points. Added to the 13 from 10 at the beginning of this thread, this puts us on 26 at the halfway stage.

Personally this is below where I would have liked us to be given the players we have available to us.

Everton have beaten Chelsea, Southampton, West Brom, (and the bottom three) Sunderland, Newcastle and Aston Villa. ALL bottom half teams.

With the exception of Southampton who I actually think are decent, Everton have fluffed their lines at EVERY opportunity, Watford, Bournemouth, Leicester, Swansea, West Ham, Stoke spring to mind. I expected at least another 10 points from those games and even then, it would be a decent season, not an exceptional season. Every single time, Everton have pretty much disappointed. Everton have a positive 7 goal difference so if we were to go by that, we really should be in 5th/6th position.
