When he failed to make 9 starts, the obligation turned into an option. No need to negotiate a new price, and no need to worry about another team. He's ours if we want him.

Wonder if his agents are a bit tricky and that’s what’s putting Moyes off.

That's my thoughts on it too. Probably a lot of hard work behind the scenes (the agents not the player). Be worth it imo though.

If Moyes does want Soucek & we need to spend wisely because of the number of players required he won’t be able to buy Charly as well.

You have to seriously question the direction of the club if we're signing 30+ year old midfielders for fees, agreed.
