Top end of town mate, up Hardman Street. Some nice pubs there, The Philharmonic pub is cracking, as is The Craic, The Casa and a couple of others ones tucked away. You should try them.

Cheers chico. Just had a quick look at the map, hardman steet looks a bit of a walk but i,ll check it out next time im over, probably the derby in october.
Like Dale street meself, thats where the living room is, right? Was in there for a meal with the moose last time i was over, nice bit of nosebag.

It will take you literally ten minutes to walk to Hardman Street from Dale Street mate, or a couple of quid in a taxi. Try it out, and let me know how you go.

I'm not in the City much mate so don't really know that Living Room place, Dale Street has the Ship & Mitre one end and Rigbys and that on the other.

I dont, its a [Poor language removed] hole, when your in some of the boozers its alright, but hate having to walk around the area with all the bums and beggars knocking about. I need some new places to go to when im over. Starting to feel to old for concert square and im not gay enough for the lisbon, any suggestions?

Are you sure we're talking about the same place here?

So tomorrow is the big day.

The wife and I get back from our Orient Express adventure at around midnight.

We can go straight to the hotel and a little shut eye :P or we can look at going for a drink / meal etc in the city center, preferably within walking distance of the station and surrounding hotels.

Moderate funds only here though, so would prefer if it didn't cost me £20 just to walk through the door. :)

So, it's Thursday night, at 12:00 am. Where's the party at?

No sillys though please guys. I'll be with the wife, not the lads. (y)

Er.. little place called the Cumberland Tavern.. ( at least thats what it comes up as on my credit card..)

Don't go to 'Walkabout'. Ended up in there last weekend and saw 2 people fall down the stairs.

The fella walked off his broken ankle. ouch.

Why the offense mate? I ask nothing more than for peeps to respect the wife and not send me to the local fight club, or in Chico's case, the local gay bar.

No offence dude, just sorry I couldnt help... but my later suggestion was the Kray... which, isnt the best suggestion... but i love it so! :P haha!
