We have scored quite a few screamers this season:
Gray vs City (goal of the month in MOTD)
Coleman vs Leeds (goal of the month again)
Doucoure against Brighton and Bournmouth
McNeil vs Brighton and others

Possibly as a result of not having a strike force we had to be a bit more adventurous?
Certainly better quality of goals than when we’ve been rubbish in the past.

Unsustainable is another word for it.
Possibly

But at the same time, we massively underperformed on certain statistics. I'm no fan of XG but we had an Xg for the season of 48 and only scored 34 goals so there must be something in that. That was more than a lot of the teams around us - Fulham, Forest, Leeds, Bournemouth, Palace, Wolves etc. We are also way up the list for missing big chances.

We need to score more goals. It's obvious what the problem is but not easy to fix. 2 new forwards is a must this summer.

These are the type of goals that we all love to see. However they should have been in addition to the 'bread and butter' type goals that strikers put away.

Add these goals to a dozen plus scored by DCL and 10 or so from a second striker and we're starting to challenge for European spots.

We scored 32 goals in 38 games, it’s pitiful. I would rather we scored 60 scruffy goals than had another season like this.

Because we had no striker for most games, we were reliant on someone doing something amazing or a set piece, you can’t do that every season

We are scorers of Great goals but not great goalscorers. We don't create enough chances but that is due to a number of factors. Such as being set up for a Central Stricker who is good in the air and the fact our midfield runners aren't great finishers.

What makes it even more pitiful is that we scored 5 out of those 32 in one game lol

You can lob Keanes vs Spurs in there as well. Some strike, that.
