Duncan Ferguson got a job

He'll be glad to not be tarred with a second relegation. The shambles of the club glosses over the fact that it hasn't worked really. If they hadn't been relegated it might not have come to this and they were more than good enough to stay up.

Be interesting to see who, if anyone, gives him another shot at being manager.

Poor bloke. He really hasn't had a lot of luck.

The only good thing regarding his two disastrous reigns is that in the first club they then went onto be relegated again with a few other managers unable to save them and in the Inverness case it was fighting a lost cause. Hope he picks his next club well, still think he can be a decent manager.

For me - he's an Everton legend.

First player to score when I'd been attending, the player you wanted to be in the playground, loved the club, had the passion which got you hooked on football.

Sadly for him, he'll join a large list of ex-players who couldn't cut it in management such as Rooney, Scholes, Lampard, Tony Adams, The Neville's etc...

Will always love the bloke and hope he enjoyed his birthday.
