Used to speak to Steve Pickton a lot back in the day, much ignored UK artist. Told him this is what I expected club music to be like in the future. That was almost 25 years ago. I've stopped going to clubs

He seems to be happy staying out of the limelight and doing his own thing, as he`s been around a long time now.

Potentially controversial but I prefer New Order to Joy Division...

I love them both equally mate.

The way I look at them, is that they are two completely different bands, with two completely different sounds.

I always wonder what would`ve happened with Joy Division if Curtis hadn`t killed himself.

I doubt very much whether they would`ve ended up with the beautiful melodic synth sound of New Order , all driven by Hooks bass.

Great choice of an example of New Order - one of my favourites.

Right to mention the bass. The instrumental break at the end of this with the bass leading it is incredible.
