Player Valuation: £6m
100 metre final in london whos your money on bolt coming good and retaining his title or the new kid johan blake who beat bolt in the jamicans trials taking his crown

I think Blake will win. Has the psychological edge after beating him recently, and often beats him in training as well.

More importantly, Bolt's false start and DQ as a result in last year's world championship final have meant he's been noticeably slower out of the blocks since.

I'd rather see Bolt win like - I just don't think he will.

Gonna be a fantastic race..... also the French Lad ... Lamentre ?? is gonna have a say in the medals in the sprints this year I think.

Can't see him finishing in the top five.

I think Bolt will take it, but I don't have a preference. Looking forward to it, in both the one and two hundred.

I think he will fare better in the 200 to be honest..... not really seen him do a lot at 100 lately. Still , I think he has something to make the top 3.

Usain Bolt has been running average times (for him) all season, but you just know he's going to come out on the day and absolutely smash the entire field. I have a feeling he could go through the 9.5 second barrier.

He could but I'd be surprised if he did it in London. It's unlikely the weather will be conducive to the fastest times, even if the sprinters will be up for it like never before. I'm expecting sub-9.7, perhaps sub-9.6 but no more. Hope I'm wrong, though. There'snot a lot more exciting in sport than sprint world records being made.

I thought the forecast for the next couple of weeks was turning warmer and generally calmer conditions ?

Hell of a lot of factors to be considered for fast times when you think of it.... the weather, wind speed, direction...is it a 'fast track'.. time of day ( some sprinters feel mentally better prepared in the evening than in the afternoon funnily enough, i read it somewhere ffs )........gonna be fantastic to watch.
