10 most overrated footballers

Agreed on Rooney, Bruce.

However, once again, does anyone really rate Wes Brown in the first place?

He does play regularly but I think that determining whether or not someone is overrated is largely down to media focus, Brown isn't exactly johnny red top is he?

Wes Brown is another. Lots of games for Man Utd and England but he really is awful. Never seen a player score as many own goals as him.

Rooney should be there I think. A fine player but he's been rubbish this season and no way deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo.

I've been pondering this. While he's a really good all round fusballer, he hasn't turned into what we thought he would.

Last nights game he played well but there was twice I noticed where he was in space with the ball outside of the box and he tried to play the ball out wide whereas before he'd have smashed it past the keeper. Shame.
