How do you fix the problem?

I was just watching a highlights show for all the main leagues in Europe and both the French Ligue 1 and Scottish Premiership and dominated by one team.*

The longer the league remains uncompetitive, the less money the country's FA will make and so on and so on. PSG and Celtic and both make good money from cups and league prizes and relatively high sponsorship packages, but that will just worsen and increase the gap making the whole problem worse.

Any (serious) ideas of what you would do to make the league more competitive? Just seems pretty impossible without some major and seemingly unfair changes.

*I'm aware this is nothing new, but never really thought about the consequences of it til recently.

Both those league's are a joke. PSG have openly taken the piss out of FFP to get close to the rest of Europe. The fact that Rogers left Celtic for Leicester tells you how pointless the Scottish League is.

You don’t fix the problem, time fixes it on its own. Scotland has always been a 2 team league, Rangers dominate for a decade, then Celtic, then back to Rangers. It has always been this way.

In France, PSG have only dominated for the past 5 years, before that Lyon had won 7 in a row.

Spain is a 2 team league, Italy has been a 1 team league for the past decade.

It’s nothing new, and in 10 years time it will probably be a different team dominating each league.

Salary caps work.

Limiting the number of contracts any club can have works.

The current system in Europe will always favor the rich.
Salary caps are fine in countries like the US or Australia, but will not work in Europe. We have too many leagues, with too much financial disparity (due to the differing sizes of the countries) for it to be effective
And the reason the current system favours the rich is because that is exactly what it is designed to do. The rich clubs have never hidden this, think back to the G12 back in the early 90s, that is where it all started
