I think it is very generous to put all the accolades on Cantona for transforming Man Utd. Peter Schmeichel made just as big an impact as Cantona

Over-rated as a footballer because he did well in the over-hyped Premier League. Seldom played as well in Europe or for France. Kudos for giving the guy in the crowd some welly for being a plank though. Paying to see a match doesn't give you carte blanche to shout whatever you like.

He didn't play for France because he retired from international footy in his early 20s in protest at the French FA. Seem to remember him missing some important European games for them, but you can't argue he helped created the confident, arrogant winning attitude that now surrounds Manchester United.
