There used to be a bakery on St John's Rd in Waterloo called the Little Macaron Shop.
He made MacClairs where the top layer was like a macaron, then cream and choux. Amazing.
There is a new Polish bakery on Mount Pleasant (just follow the bend on from South Road). They do éclairs and they are huge. Loads of other tasty treats too.
Satterthwaites in Crosby is a good bakery too.
