    2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

Be nice seeing an actual footballer playing in the #10 more often. Through balls have been a rare commodity at Everton over the years.

    Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

Quite keen on playing at the new stadium apparently, he felt that Goodison was a bit Delapidated.

    Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

We’re up against it, but United are a basket case and Chelsea have about a million players on their books. He comes here, he leads us out as our #9 at a brand new premier league stadium and we build our team around him. That’s simply got to be a tempting offer. Not getting excited though...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Always a big fan of the bedwetter shouts when there’s 6 hours left of the window and we haven’t signed someone for a position we badly need and haven’t addressed for 3 years.

@Goat this fella has got your squad analysis virtually up and running. Fabianski I’m happy with, who cares about the sub keeper in all honestly. Coufal I wouldn’t touch but it just feels too obvious not to happen. Legs have gone and he’ll inevitably end up playing 25 games when Patterson and...

I predict we’ll start off with frees to plug some gaps in the squad, Fabianski and Coufal being the obvious two. Hopefully also get Charly in the door. Then everyone will fume that we’re not spending any money as we take our time buying the right midfielders and forwards.

    2024/25 Idrissa Gueye

If Gana goes it won’t be down to the club, it’ll be because he wants to move closer to his family. Everyone wants him to stay but it’s up to him.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

We tend to play better when he’s in the side and I think under Moyes he would have improved his goal output. I also think this striker market this summer is going to be an absolute horror. It’s not that I think he’s amazing, it’s just hard to see us improving on him without gambling on a...

Had hoped he would stay, but I’d be astounded if that happens now. His wife will be telling him in no uncertain terms she wants to move now.

    2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

Will always be grateful for the Bournemouth goal, and for some of his performances under Dyche particularly early on. Think it’s one of those scenarios however where it has run its course naturally and it’s best for both parties to move on. Good signing overall, leaving at the right time. His...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I’d agree, though I’d perhaps add DCL as his all round game does tend to make us play better. He won’t stay based on his bird though. My big worry is if Gana chooses to leave, and I expect he will as otherwise he probably would’ve signed by now, we’ll panic and cave to the likes of Doucoure...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

To be fair it sounds as though virtually every player bar DCL and Gana has been offered vastly reduced terms to reflect their actual value. I seriously doubt either Keane or Doucoure will stay. Honestly I don’t think any of the above 4 will be here next season for various reasons.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The most obvious frees are Fabianski and Coufal, Moyes loves a lad he’s worked with before. Don’t actually mind Fabianski as the backup for a year but reading everywhere that Coufal’s legs have gone. Robin Olsen part 2 and Walker-Peters would be better. Always rated Dawson and Mee as solid...

How many players will we sign this summer?

6, looking at the list of players West Ham are letting go on a free.

    2024/25 David Moyes

Done a fantastic job overall since coming in. Huge decisions and summer ahead now for him and the new staff. Will they be brave enough to let Doucoure and Keane leave? Will they sign Alcaraz? Will he avoid splurging £25m on Soucek? I hope so.

Match Thread Everton 2-0 Southampton. Sun May 18th. 12 pm

My dad unfortunately passed away two months ago and I'm gutted he didn't get to see our final game at Goodison. Makes me think about the tens of thousands of blues who've graced Goodison over the years but who didn't get to see the old lady off. We've all got our own Goodison stories and...

Be mad to sell him, especially if DCL leaves on a free. Unlucky not to score today.

    2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

Honestly believe given the chance Alcaraz could virtually match what he does running/pressing wise, whilst being a far superior footballer. Moyes doesn't seem to be having it though unfortunately.
