Arsed what he does off the ball he’s an attacker. Thought he was out liveliest player that first half.
Tbf think he does put himself about off the ball too
His had a few nice touches tbf just don’t get the sense that he’s a danger in front of goal yet. Made a meal of his headed chance in that first half, same as in the last game
He’s absolutely pony. One paced and easy to read, just always trying to cut back onto his left foot to throw a cross in. Hes always been a bit crap but with the occasional moment of magic making up for it but he doesn’t look to have that anymore.
Way down the pecking order too now, maybe try...
Think dropping him worked, was more like the Beto we know when he came in, got stuck in and put himself about.
Like a train when he gets in his stride too, got the players in the side now to play balls behind, do that and there’s no stopping him
Rather he just boot it long form the off instead of having to watch him pass it back and forth with Keane for 30 seconds before he inevitably just boots it long anyway
Too much of a liability played that deep, positioning can be awful and has a habit of going wandering with no one to cover him. Probably why he looks better more forward because we don’t get punished as bad
