Slightly missing the point. We will not be spending anywhere near 30 mil on a player. What will do, is renew a load of contracts we should not touch with a barge poll. Thats just the position we are in

We actually have only 2 players who are above average. Pickford and Branthwaite. The rest range between massively below average to average. Thats how bad we are and thats why we are always happy to just survive. Absolute no idea how this changes BTW

Easy that one. Taking us forward imo, is playing better, more progressive football. Taking a chance, by actually picking the best players to start. Accept, very quickly, when times up for even your favoured players. When things are clearly not working, do something different. Give other players...

There will be the usual guff talk about us signing this player and that one. Then there will be a mass renewal of contracts. All bar 1 or 2 new players, this same team starts next season

Disagree. This is imo very short sighted. Almost wishing away the problem. Urgent action is required to sort out the transport issues to and from the ground. Not in a few years time. Now.
