    Pochettino

The Pochettino hype completely eludes me although his recent weight loss is admirable, he looked very trim doing his tv punditry. After 2 months and a few dodgy results culminating in the usual call for the managers head he'll be back on the choccies and ale inflating like an airship.

    Who should replace Frank Lampard?

It's not "automatic" but the reality is Martinez worked the oracle by bringing back the school of science and best prem season on loanees and a few bob. The question occupying minds among those not on the hatred bandwagon is what could he have done with proper money? Those who DO hate him know...

    FA CUP 3rd round draw

Look on the bright side, at least a 3rd round ko doesn't mark the end of the season as it once did. Dicing with relegation keeps the interest at frothing levels right to the bitter end. What a time to be a blue.

    2022/23 Amadou Onana

Very limited technically but as exampled in this world cup that's how football is these days. In a strong team he could be an asset as those long legs make him a bugger to get past the problem is we are not a strong team. Unfortunately I can see him joining the Gomes, Snides, Klassen, De Beek...

    CLYDE BEST WONDER GOAL

I must have been at that game because I didn't miss a home game for about 4 seasons in that era and can proudly say I don't remember a single thing about it.

We need Qatar to buy us The money they've shelled out for this WC is beyond ludicrous

    Cristiano Ronaldo

From being a 10/10 elite player he dropped like a stone at the back end of his Juve stint and is now a 6/10 balloon fondler but our forwards are 3/10 so why not? We are suckers for a name, look at the reaction Carlo got despite all the predicted issues coming to pass and Ron would be welcomed...

What has been your lowest point supporting Everton?

I was in the cubs camping in the Lake District and heard West Brom had beat us in the cup final (1968). The rotation of the earth seemed a little wobblier to a young blue after that.

Does the club go for short term six month contracts for three Top Class Free Agent players in Jan.

I think the principle as a short-term rescue operation has some merit. Shades of the 1999 Kevin Cambell loan about it. I just don't know who.

    2022/23 Jordan Pickford

Good shot stopper but his fundamental flaws and mad aberrations mean everyone is on edge most of the time. On balance I'd sell and look for a competent keeper who can dominate at corners and comfortably collect crosses. I'm sure we lose more goals that way than from shots flying from outside the...

    2022/23 Frank Lampard

But you see if genuine thought and research was put in Carlo wouldn't have been appointed the state of this club is miles outside of his comfort zone.

The Moment You Knew He Had Failed...

The 2 biggies are capitulating to the RS (not just losing but trouser soiling before stepping on the pitch) and trying to emulate Wenger when he had a second team almost good enough to win trophies. Our second stringers shouldn't see the light of day unless first teamers are in a coma. I think...

    2022/23 Frank Lampard

It's the essence of a gamble which just hasn't worked here. Moreover, it appears to have made things worse as recent seasons have made the avoidance of relegation rather than challenging the priority. Understandable why people are twitchy about having another go.

    Who should replace Frank Lampard?

He was the right man at the wrong time. If the Mosh money had been available at the end of his first season we would have kept Stones and Rom and added similar quality throughout. McCready and co wouldn't have figured. "sin miedo" baby
