    Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Yes, but we're linked to a seemingly never ending list of left sided players.

    Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Sure, they can, but wouldn't it be better to actually buy someone who is proven to be effective in a specific position. For example, just off the top of my head, right wing?

Fofana too. I'm very confused by our transfer strategy, assuming all of the rumours are accurate, of course. I asked above that if we sign some of the players linked would we be looking to sell McNeil.

    Then we're in big trouble.

I wouldn't have thought so, different types of players and different positions.

    Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Good player but in probably the lowest priority position in the squad. We've already got Ndiaye and McNeil on the left, unless we're looking to sign him as a 10 but will he work hard enough for Moyes in that position? Are we looking at selling McNeil?

No, that would be a "standard loan deal". I'm not sure what is below "standard" but whatever is that's the Jack Harrison deal(s).

What on earth is a "premium loan deal"?!

I guess, and I'm playing devil's advocate here, he can cover a lot of positions. He's played RB, RW, the right side of midfield and central midfield but he'd be a rather uninspiring signing.

    I can't believe he's still only 27!

He's one of those meh signings, which means it will probably happen. He's got that experience Moyes was banging on about. Not a transfer to get the juices flowing, however.

I'm pretty sure the club announced they were in discussions, maybe it didn't go as far as an actual contract offer?

Yep, and let's hope we take that chance. Time will tell.

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

We're definitely not debt free. Our debt has been reduced and refinanced so it's much more manageable, and obviously that's a good thing as our previous situation was an unmanageable debt spiral, but we still owe hundreds of millions of pounds. Don't get me wrong the one measurable thing TFG...

I think we also need a RB in before Leeds. If Branthwaite and/or Tarkowski are still injured by the Leeds game we'll be playing one or both of Keane and Patterson and playing either of them on day dot would be, in my opinion at least, a huge failure of recruitment.

    2024/25 David Moyes

He's already complained about the playing surface. The atmosphere will likely be next, something along the lines of "Goodison was our home for so long, and we knew what to expect there. It'll take some time for the team to get used to this stadium, look at what happened at Arsenal when they left...

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

Ok, but we don't know if the new structure has yielded or will yield any improvements yet, do we? The debt situation is obviously a welcome development. Look, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with TFG, we all hope they'll do a brilliant job. We just don't know yet. Everyone just needs to...

I know, that's my point, it's too soon to make any judgements, positive or negative. I would argue that you are being at least as irrationally full of praise for an ownership that hasn't done a great deal of anything yet as those who are decrying them. It's reasonable to be optimistic, but you...
